Marc Anderson
Serving Smiles and Fair Food Favorites Across the Midwest
In the fall of 2012, Marc Anderson—owner of Blue Loon® Concessions—served his very first corn dog and a basket of deep-fried cheese curds at a small art fair in the hills of southern Minnesota. What started as one man’s dream and a single fryer has grown into a full-scale concessionaire business known for serving some of the best fair food in the Midwest.
Today, Blue Loon® Concessions is a trusted food vendor at more than fifty events each year, including county fairs, festivals, sporting events, and community celebrations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Fair directors consistently invite us back season after season, and we’re proud to be the primary concessionaire for several state and national USA Clay Target League tournaments.
With a lifetime of experience in the restaurant industry, Marc is an entrepreneur at heart. Leaving behind the corporate grind to follow his passion, he launched Blue Loon® Concessions with the goal of creating not only amazing food, but a fun, welcoming workplace where every team member feels valued and heard.
Now a thriving, family-owned business, we employ over forty seasonal staff from May through October. Many return year after year—not just for the work, but for the friendships, the energy, and the joy of being part of something people truly love.

From day one, owner Marc Anderson has been committed to using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients in every dish we serve. Our signature cheese curds are delivered weekly from the famous Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, and our corn dogs are hand-dipped in homemade cornmeal batter, deep fried to golden perfection, and served hot onsite.
As a dedicated Midwest concessionaire and trusted food vendor, we’re always excited to take on new events, explore creative menu items, and grow our seasonal team. But no matter how much we grow, our core values stay the same: provide outstanding customer service, serve unforgettable fair food, and take great care of the hardworking Blue Loon® crew.
